New to Streamtime? If you’re not already in touch with our team and want to ensure you're set up for success, we’d love to guide you through the process. Before diving into onboarding, reach out to us, and we can help tailor your setup and give you a nice checklist to work from.

Super users

Super users are the ones who'll champion bringing Streamtime into your business. They'll have deep knowledge of the team, processes and tools, and will learn how Streamtime can support that moving forward.

Company profile

Set up your company profile by defining key elements like logo, currency, job number format and more.

Team members

You don't need to invite your team to Streamtime just yet but creating their profiles will help throughout your onboarding journey, and save you time later.

Billing

Know where to look for your subscription details, invoice history and payment details.

Master items and expenses

To save time and reduce admin, set up master items and expenses for the regular work your business does. This will help you maintain consistency, reduce admin and make reporting a breeze.

Follow our guides for creating master items and expenses.

Roles

Each team member needs a role within Streamtime so you can take advantage of smarter job planning, manage permissions and rate cards in bulk, and easily filter your reports.

Rate cards

Set up rate cards for different projects, clients, or currencies to ensure that your pricing structure is organised and easy to apply across various items, expenses, and roles.

Understand how to set up rate cards.

Labels

Organise your work by tagging projects, quotes, team members and more with labels. Labels help you categorise and pull reports, making it easier to find what you need.

Build out your workflows

Once your core setup is complete, it’s time to focus on your workflows—this is where the real magic happens. Your workflows shape everything from internal admin tasks to client-facing processes like quoting, invoicing, scheduling, and logging time.

Thinking through your workflows now will help you build strong template jobs, making project setup faster and more consistent. Your templates should reflect the way your team works, ensuring every new job follows a structured process.

Once your templates are in place, you’ll use them to migrate ongoing jobs from your previous platform, keeping your transition to Streamtime smooth and organised.

Team training

With your setup complete and workflows in place, it’s time for team training. We’ll tailor the training to your specific setup and agreed processes, ensuring that everyone on your team knows how to use Streamtime effectively based on your agreed ways of working.
