Streamtime Integrations

Use our public API or Zapier to integration with other apps such as Slack, Gmail, JIRA, Typeform and many more

Updated this week

πŸ•°οΈ Est. Time: 5 minutes

🎯 Goal: Understand the capabilities of integrations and how you can use them to Streamline your workflows

πŸ”‘ Requirements: Access to Streamtime settings, the specific areas you need to create the integrations, and an understanding of those.

At Streamtime, we also recognise that reducing admin work, duplication and distractions is key to supporting your workflows - which is why we have a number of ways you can integrate with your favourite apps.

API

If you're keen on getting Streamtime to seamlessly interact with your bespoke software, you'll need your exclusive API key for that. You can find the documentation around API here.

Locating Your API Key

  1. Head to Settings: Tap the βš™οΈ icon and choose Integrations under Account Settings.

  2. Grab Your Key: Scroll down to the API section and hit Connect. You will then have access to your key.

πŸ”‘ - Only the account subscriber can access this key, ensuring you keep your setup snug and secure.

I'm seeing a "You don't have sufficient permissions" message when trying to set up my integration.

The most common reasons we see this are:

  • A missing or misformatted Authorisation header

  • An incorrect URL or method (i.e. using the wrong ID in the URL or body)

We recommend double-checking these areas first. If you have checked these and are still having issues, please reach out to the team so we can further support.

Accounting Applications

Streamtime now lets you effortlessly link up with your accounting application, be it Xero, Quickbooks, or MYOB. This allows you to send things directly from Streamtime to your chosen finance platform, and also allows for additional insights depending on which platform you're using.

Connecting Your Accounting Software

  1. Head to Settings: Click the βš™οΈ icon and select Integrations under Account Settings.

  2. Pick Your Accounting Software: Find the box for your accounting package and click the Connect button.

  3. Set Up the Connection: Simply follow the wizard to establish your connection. Need more info? Check out our dedicated guides below for a smoother setup:

Google Calendar Native Integration

In addition to native accounting integrations, we also have a Google Calendar integration, which allows you to populate your Events in Google Calendar as To Do's in Streamtime.

You can also attach these to a Job using a few handy tips and tricks when setting up your Events. Find out more on this and how to set it up here.

What about my other apps?

In today's fast-paced world, it's essential to streamline your workflows and keep your favourite tools at your fingertips. That's why we're thrilled to announce our collaboration with Zapier, offering you a seamless way to connect Streamtime with the apps you can't live without - Slack, Teams, Gmail, and more.
