If you're logging time in the 'To Do' screen, it's good to know where that data goes. This guide shows you the ropes. You'll find your recorded hours in places like the Time list under the Jobs section, and there are options for a closer look and sorting. It's all about making Streamtime's time-tracking straightforward and clear. Let's get you up to speed.
🕕Viewing time entries the Time Screen
The first place you can see this time is from the Time screen in the Jobs area. Just head to Jobs > Time.
If we just threw all your time entries at you in a big list, it'd be a jumble. That's why this screen comes with a built-in group-by function. This way, you can organise your entries by various categories like Job, Job Branch, Company, Role, Team Member, Team Member Branch, Date, Item Name, and Item Phase.
The list provides you with the number of hours tracked, the cost of that time, and the expected sell price, with Grand Totals displayed in the bar across the bottom of the screen.
Expand any line to see a detailed breakdown of individual time entries, such as the date that an entry was recorded, the team member who entered the time, and the item that they worked on.

*️⃣ Use Filters to refine your Time list further
For example, add a date filter to look at the time logged last/this/next and week/month/year.
You can also set date ranges by using the after/before filters with a built-in calendar picker. If you wanted to look at all dates for July for example, you would add the following filters:
Date is FROM June 30th
AND
Date is TO August 1st
Or why not group the list by job and add the filters Team Member (choose a user) and Billed (yes) will show you the amount of billed time for that particular team member across all jobs.
The Grand Totals bar which sits at the bottom of the screen provides you with the total amount of billed time for this team member, along with the total cost and sell price of their time, allowing you to gauge the value that they bring to your business.
⌚️ Save time by saving these filters as favourites.
If you want to refer back to these helpful views anytime at the click of a button. Just hit the save as favourite button. You'll be able to find these in the favourite tab (heart icon on your sidebar). Easy!
📤 Export your data.
We know that sometimes you want to play around with this data, or even share this with your clients (don't forget to remove the 'cost' columns).
Click on the 'export CSV' button in the bottom left of your screen and you'll get a spreadsheet ready to go. If you don't see the button, make sure you're scrolled all the way to the left of your screen.
🙋♀️Where else can I see my time?
The other place you can check tracked time is in the Used / Planned area on the job card.
Here you'll see a breakdown of all time that has been tracked against the job, along with the cost / sell prices of these entries, and their billed / unbilled status.
If you didn't link your time to a Planned Item, it will show as Extra Hours Tracked. Simply click the entry to edit it and add it to an item.
