Updated over 3 months ago

Heads up!

From June 2024, in order to integrate your Streamtime with an accounting platform, you will have to enable Two-Factor Authentication for security purposes. Find out how here.

In today's digital ecosystem, the seamless integration between project management and financial accounting systems is essential for streamlined operations. This guide serves as a comprehensive walkthrough for connecting Streamtime with both MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Business Pro, ensuring a smooth and straightforward setup process regardless of the platform you're using. Tailored to accommodate users of MYOB AccountRight, a Windows-specific application, and the versatile MYOB Business Pro, our instructions cover everything from initial connection through to invoicing and troubleshooting. Our goal is to simplify your workflow, allowing you to concentrate on the core aspects of your business with the confidence that your project management and accounting needs are efficiently aligned.

⚙️Setup

NB: MYOB AccountRight (online) is a Windows only application. As such, the setup should be completed on a Windows machine as it requires login to the MYOB AccountRight company file.

To establish the connection between Streamtime and MYOB AccountRight, simply go to The ⚙️ menu and then click on Integrations

Click Connect to MYOB.

You'll be guided to MYOB AccountRight to enter your login details. Following this step, you'll seamlessly return to Streamtime, ready to continue your workflow.

MYOB AccountRight will also require you to login to the actual company file - so a second login will be required.

🧾 Invoicing

Firstly, create your invoice in Streamtime as you normally would. If you need more information on how to do this, please check out the Invoicing in Streamtime section for detailed guidance. Once you are satisfied with your invoice, open it and click on Copy to MYOB to complete the process.

If your invoice or purchase order line items lack an MYOB account code, you'll be prompted to choose one. This ensures that each item is correctly categorised in your financial records, streamlining the integration process between Streamtime and MYOB AccountRight.

The MYOB tag will appear once the invoice has been successfully copied to MYOB.

There you have it – straightforward and efficient. However, should you encounter any issues, we're here to help. Simply use the "Help" button found in your side-menu or send us an email. Our team is always ready to assist you with any queries or concerns you might have.

Please note that MYOB does not allow invoices in a foreign currency to be pushed into the platform.

❓Troubleshooting

If your MYOB connection drops for any particular reason, you may have to re-enter your MYOB AccountRight credentials in the Profile & Settings > Integrations page.
