Are there notifications in Streamtime?

Get notifications in your To Do screen when you've been Scheduled work in Streamtime

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We live in a world full of notifications for every action, comment, trigger or message in our lives. That's why we've designed notifications to be by prompt only so you can focus on your work without distraction.

Rather than receiving a notification for every single thing, we're encouraging you to only receive the notifications that really matter.

Where do notifications live?

Our notifications live in the activity panel. Hit the lightning symbol ⚡️ in the menu and then head to your messages.

When do I get notifications?

You'll receive a notification when a team member mentions you in a comment on a Job Post.

To mark a notification as read simply hit the Envelope Icon ✉️ and if you want to mark it as unread, just hit it again.

How do I send one?

Sending a notification is a breeze. To notify a team member, simply head to the activity log for the job concerned by clicking Activity in the job. To notify someone, tag them using the @ symbol.

Connecting workflows and notifications

To take control of the notifications that matter most, we recommend reviewing your tech stack and workflows, and connecting your apps. Don't just take our word for it, here's an article on why notifications are mostly useless from Zapier, a third-party tool, that allows you to connect commonly used tools like email, Slack, Google Drive, Streamtime, and so much more.

From getting a Slack notification when a quote is approved to a new brief submission automatically creating a new job, Zapier not only lets you choose which notifications to flag, but allows you to automate workflows to reduce unnecessary noise. You can read more about Zapier integrations here.
