ποΈ Functionality
Addressing a frequently asked question this time round with the ability to now update tax rates in bulk on quotes, purchase orders and invoices. Easily remove GST or VAT from your whole invoice for that special international client by clicking on the tax rates you'd like to change in bulk from the sidebar. π
Previously, when you recorded a payment on a purchase order, the information in the payment reference field went into the ether. Now, references are recorded in your payment history sidebar tab. π°
Sent a quote, invoice or purchase order? Forgotten what you wrote in the message? You're now able to view exactly what your client received β including the custom message and an attachment, if any β by clicking on the history entry in the activity trail sidebar tab. Woohoo! π»
Sometimes you want to update your standard rate card, but not all the jobs linked to it. Now you can decide which rate card to set as standard, meaning you can update your rates for this year and smoothly switch, while keeping a record of what you used to charge. Also: name it whatever you want! Simply use the 3-dot menu on the rate card to set any rate card to standard β¨
π Fixes/Improvements
Last week, our quotes list was wigging out if you tried to switch on the purchase order number column. Now, no longer!
A fixed price line item won't automatically recalculate when you change the quantity field on a quote, invoice or purchase order anymore, only if you've got a unit rate set. Better. Clearer. Faster. Stronger.
If you disconnect from Xero, you'll get a warning to let you know that all your mapped account codes will break. We don't like you having to do extra work, so we thought we'd warn you that would be the case!
In a few places on the job page, some things weren't updating without a refresh... resolved. No refresh required.
