Items form the core of your invoices, quotes, and time tracking, simplifying project planning and execution. Checklists enhance item management, allowing for detailed guidance on task completion. Additionally, master items offer a shortcut for regularly used items, ensuring quick and consistent job setup. This article guides you through adding items and checklists, plus creating master items, to optimise your Streamtime experience.

Items are pretty much the backbone of your jobs β think of them as those key details on your invoices and quotes, and what you clock your time against.
Add an Item
Click the Add Item button on the job page to add an item.

Checklists
On the other hand, checklists can serve as a guide to completing each item. Each item can have its own checklist.

Like most things in Streamtime, how you use checklists is up to you. It could be a list of instructions on how to complete the Item, requirements for Items or anything else your heart desires when it comes to managing your items.
Add a Checklist
Open the desired item.
Click on 'Checklist Item'.
Type in your entry.
Press Enter to add more items to the list.
Once finished, click outside the checklist area. Streamtime will automatically save your entries.

π§° Master Items
Do you have items that you use regualry. To save time you can create master items. Master items allow you pull through your commonly used items with set values quickly while building your Job Plan. For more information on Master Items check out our article on master settings.
β Create a Master Item
Navigate to the βItemsβ section in your Master Settings.
Click β Create, Item
Select the type of Item name you wish to add.
Choose how the item will be priced: by Item Rate, by Team Member, or a Fixed Price.
Enter your item price. (Note: leave this blank if you are pricing by team member.)
Add a description for your item.
Optionally, connect the item to your Accounting Package.
