What is extended reporting?

The Extended Reporting course is designed to help you get you sink your teeth into this advanced feature.

This course will teach you how to build powerful, custom reports to uncover insights into your projects, profitability, and team performance.

Reporting is most powerful when you’ve got some data in the system that you can play around with, so it’s probably not for when you’ve just started using Streamtime and have only a couple of jobs going. Just make sure you’ve got nice data going in to set yourself up for success!

Building confidence in reports, step by step

If you’re feeling overwhelmed at the start, that’s completely normal! We’ve designed this course to break things down step by step so it’ll all start to click as you go.

To get the most out of it, we recommend setting aside specific report ideas until the guided report builds - that way, when you reach those, everything will fall into place.

This course isn’t about memorising every report - it’s about understanding how they work, what’s possible, and how to shape them to fit your needs.

By the end, you’ll have the building blocks to confidently create any report you choose.

Key things to note:

  • This course will work best with existing data so you can manipulate the results as you go

  • We’re starting with the basics so try to forget about any pre-conceptions early on (we'll start building examples partway through)
