πΈ Credit notes, revitalised
Our credit note functionality has been refreshed to make it more useful β by popular demand!
Credit Notes are now a type of Invoice, rather than a status, so they carry their own statuses. This means a Credit Note can be Draft, Awaiting Payment, Paid, and Voided, just like Invoices. It also means they can be applied as payments onto Invoices themselves. A Credit Note for one job can be applied as a payment to any Invoice for any job for the same company. Neat, huh?
π Assigning Leads for jobs and companies
You can now assign a Job Lead to a job, or a Company Lead to a company, and report on them. Say Brooke and Polina are both responsible for two projects for Marvel Studios, and Jake is responsible for all of Marvel's jobs. You can now:
Assign Brooke as the Job Lead for Project 1 for Marvel
Assign Polina as the Job Lead for Project 2 for Marvel
Assign Jake as the Company Lead for Marvel
And easily filter and report on the jobs that Brooke and Polina are each responsible for. You can also create custom reports for the companies that Jake's looking after.

π Our job page is getting a revamp
We've been stealthily rebuilding our job page in the background, and we'll be releasing our new version to a select group of customers shortly to test out the new look and feel, planning flow and some improved functionality. If you'd like to be part of our testing group, please reach out via the chat bubble in your app.
Improvements π
Small but mighty... Terms and Conditions on Purchase Orders! You can now include T&Cs on your POs, but steer clear of too many acronyms, OK?
Ability to include a table of previous invoices on an invoice
Ability to include a table of previous payments applied to an invoice
Some behind the scenes performance improvement magic by our clever dev team
Fixes π
ICYMI, we snuck out a small release of fixes earlier this year, including:
Roles, Items and Expenses in the Master Settings area have a filter sidebar to show you your full list of rate cards, and allow searching of items. You now see all your Rate Cards available to view.
Labels have an updated UI for management and allow batch actions to delete and merge more than one label at a time
Update to permissions for permissions. You can now add more than one permission at a time, and more importantly, a feature improvement so that if you have limited permissions yourself, you cannot grant access to what you donβt have yourself β eg. Sally has the ability to grant permissions, but doesn't have Cost Rates. Sally can only assign the permissions she holds herself.
